Registered Dental Hygienist needed for our well-established privately owned and operated (non-corporate)multi-specialty office. We understand and appreciate that our Dental Hygienists have the most one-on-one interaction with our patients and will have a direct impact on helping our patients feel better about their smiles and oral health. The ideal candidate will have exceptional customer service skills, the ability to multi-task and a positive outlook. As a Registered Dental Hygienist at Franklin Dental Associates, you will be responsible for: Interacting with patients in a positive professional manner Ensuring patient comfort prior and during their treatment Reviewing patient medical histories and oral health care concerns Cleaning and helping to protect patients’ teeth (e.g. remove plaque or apply fluoride) Educating and instructing patients of all ages on proper oral care Taking xrays as prescribed by the dentist Performing and documenting perio charting Scheduling recare appointments Sterilizing instruments according to OSHA regulations Maintaining strict compliance to HIPAA and patient privacy Performing other related job duties as assigned Part-time hours available.
