Job Title: Dental Assistant Location: Tyrer Dental Care / Jonesboro, AR Job Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will assist dentists in providing high-quality dental care, ensure patient comfort, and manage administrative tasks efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Prepare patients and treatment rooms for dental procedures Assist the dentist during exams and procedures, including handing instruments and suctioning Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-procedure care Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Schedule appointments and manage patient flow Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; dental assisting certificate preferred Current certification in CPR/BLS Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments Familiarity with dental software and digital charting is a plus Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team Preferred Skills: Experience in chairside assisting for general dentistry Comfortable with digital radiography and sterilization protocols Excellent patient care and education skills Benefits (if applicable): Competitive salary Paid time off Continuing education support How to Apply: Submit your resume and credentials or apply in person at 2603 Browns Lane.
