NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. We are looking for someone with a great attitude and ready to learn new skills. The position is for an Orthodontic Assistant excited to work with our dynamic team. Looking for someone eager to learn, excited about great smiles and ready to pass on that excitement to patients. Everyday responsibilities include: Assisting with infection control Assisting orthodontist with procedures Taking and managing patient records Taking x-rays and cleaning x-ray equipment Taking impressions Cleaning and disinfecting dental equipment, instruments, and patient areas Educating patients on proper oral health and at-home directions for care Using suction tools and passing instruments during treatment Changing out wires and brackets Adjusting fit of clear aligners such as Invisalign Adjusting retainer fit Providing at-home instructions for proper orthodontic care Preparing and taking patient molds If you are not currently x-ray certified, we will provide information and pay for certification.
