Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures, with experience in various dental specialties, including general dentistry, endodontics, and oral surgery. This role is essential in providing high-quality patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Take and develop medical imaging, including X-rays, to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning. Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix dental software system. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Manage inventory of dental supplies and equipment, ensuring all tools are sterilized and ready for use. Utilize 3D scanners for advanced imaging techniques as needed. Uphold strict adherence to safety protocols and infection control standards. Experience Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred, with a solid understanding of dental terminology and procedures. Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and equipment is a plus. Experience with Dentrix dental software systems is highly desirable. Knowledge of endodontics and oral surgery is an advantage. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment are essential.
