Job Duties: Assist the dentist during procedures with efficiency and care Take and process dental X-rays Sterilize and set up instruments and operatories Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout their visit Greet and check in patients with warmth and professionalism Answer phones, schedule appointments, and assist with front office duties Support insurance verification and billing processes Maintain accurate patient records using Softdent software Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of dental assisting experience Front desk experience helpful but not required Familiarity with Softdent software is a plus Strong communication skills, friendly attitude, and a commitment to teamwork Willingness to be cross-trained and step in where needed Location: 32-17 Broadway, Astoria, NY 11106 - conveniently located by the N-train Office Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:45am-6:00pm Compensation: $23-28/hour Check out our 4.3 star rating: Astoria Dental Group Come join our amazing team!
