Job Summary We are a family dental office located in Whittier. We are looking for a OUTGOING, FRIENDLY, RELIABLE, SELF-MOTIVATED, SOCIABLE, and HARDWORKING individual who likes a busy and fun working environment. MUST NOT BE SHY! We are working with patients so communication skill is a MUST. FULL TIME POSITION. Bilingual SPANISH (REQUIRED) Candidate MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ON SATURDAYS. THIS IS NOT A TEMP JOB. We are looking for candidates that want to work and stay in the dental profession. ATTENTION TO DETAIL is a MUST. MUST HAVE A SENSE OF URGENCY, Ability to MULTITASK and working efficiently and safely is a MUST. Clinic is a busy environment. No dental assisting experience required. Duties Welcome the patients and make them feel comfortable. Setup treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies Take x-rays and impressions, make temporary crowns. Perform dental charting on all patient treatment. Assist the dentist in providing care for our patients. Provide Oral hygiene and post-operative instructions. Sterilize and maintain instruments/equipment/operatory/chairs. Keep treatment rooms clean and well-stocked. Keep the clinic, lunchroom, storefront, restrooms clean. Submit & receive lab cases. Maintain a safe and secure environment for our patients and team. Excellent written and verbal communication skills (REQUIRED) Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States (REQUIRED) Basic computer knowledge (REQUIRED) MUST HAVE A SENSE OF URGENCY, Clinic is a busy environment.
