Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Ridgecrest, CA
Ridgecrest Family Dentistry is seeking a RDA for a full time position. Please email your resume or bring your resume to 900 N. Heritage Drive, Ste D. to apply in person. Responsibilities: Assisting the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures. Taking and developing dental radiographs (x-rays). Taking and recording blood pressure and pulse. Preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment. Helping patients feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment. Providing patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment. Teaching patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health;(e.g., tooth brushing, flossing and nutritional counseling). Taking impressions of patients' teeth for study models. Helping to provide direct patient care in all dental specialties, including orthodontics, periodontics and oral surgery. General housekeeping. Other duties as assigned.
