Duties Greet patients warmly, manage appointment scheduling, and handle all front desk operations with professionalism and efficiency Assist dentists during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques, ensuring smooth chairside assistance and optimal patient comfort Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, maintaining aseptic technique, and setting up necessary dental supplies and equipment Take and develop X-ray images, including 3D scans when applicable, while adhering to infection control protocols and radiation safety standards Manage electronic medical records (EMR systems) such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic, ensuring accurate documentation of medical and dental histories, vital signs, and treatment notes Educate patients on dental procedures using clear dental terminology and explain post-treatment care instructions effectively Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient privacy and handling medical documentation responsibly Requirements Proven experience in dental assisting and front office roles within a dental clinic environment Proficiency with EMR systems like Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic; familiarity with medical coding and documentation practices Knowledge of infection control standards, sterilization procedures, and aseptic techniques in a clinical setting Ability to perform X-ray imaging accurately while following safety protocols; experience with 3D scanners is a plus Strong understanding of dental terminology across general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, pediatric dentistry, and related specialties Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients of all ages, especially pediatrics; capable of explaining complex procedures clearly Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced environment; detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills Certification or training in vital signs measurement and medical imaging is preferred Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to delivering outstanding dental care.
