The Opportunity We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team and support our commitment to high-quality, comfortable patient care. This full-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on clinical work, thrives in a supportive environment, and wants to grow with a new, technology-driven office. Schedule: Full-time, 5 days per week, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM. Part-time, Mondays and Thursdays, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM. Compensation: $22–$28 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications (with potential for increases as the practice continues to grow) Start Date: April 2026 Key Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure a clean, safe environment Assist the dentist chairside during procedures, including passing instruments, suctioning, and managing patient comfort Take and process digital dental X-rays Perform infection control procedures and maintain strict sterilization protocols Provide patient education on postoperative care and oral hygiene Take impressions, pour models, and perform basic lab tasks as needed Manage inventory of supplies and maintain equipment Support smooth patient flow by preparing charts and updating records in Open Dental Required Qualifications: Current California X-ray (Radiation Safety) certification At least 2 years of dental assisting experience OR completion of a dental assisting program Familiarity with Open Dental software (preferred) Current CPR/BLS certification Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a strong plus Benefits We Offer Competitive hourly pay with growth potential 401(k) retirement plan Continuing education opportunities Comprehensive dental benefits for you and your immediate family How to Apply If you’re passionate about delivering exceptional patient experiences and excited to grow with a modern, patient-centered practice, we’d love to hear from you!
