Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. Responsibilities Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry. Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments, supplies, and sterilization procedures following aseptic technique and infection control standards. Take and develop dental X-rays using advanced medical imaging equipment such as 3D scanners and X-ray machines while maintaining proper safety protocols. Manage patient records accurately within electronic health record (EHR) systems like Dentrix, ensuring HIPAA compliance at all times. Perform chairside assisting duties including taking vital signs, explaining procedures to patients using dental terminology, and assisting with medical documentation and coding. Support the dental receptionist by scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and handling administrative tasks efficiently. Maintain a thorough understanding of anatomy knowledge relevant to dentistry and pediatrics to assist with treatment planning and patient education. Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
