Duties Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies Assist with chairside procedures, including four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and comfort Take and interpret medical imaging such as X-rays, ensuring proper positioning and safety protocols Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient records in charts. Office utilizes Eaglesoft. Follow infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure a sterile environment during all procedures Requirements Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in accordance with state regulations Proven experience with dental office software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix preferred Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology for accurate patient assessment and documentation Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices and working with pediatric patients is a plus Strong understanding of infection control standards, HIPAA compliance, and medical record management Ability to perform dental assisting tasks including chairside support during various procedures Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to diverse patient needs Join us in making a difference by providing top-tier dental care in a fast-paced, friendly environment!
