A great communicator that wants to make a difference in our patients care. Someone who thrives in a busy environment and is a team player. Eagerness to learn and provide extraordinary care to our patients. RESPONSIBILITIES: Present the patient to the doctor. Clean the patient’s teeth. Fluoride application Take, expose and develop digital radiographs (bitewings, panoramic). Provide hygiene and diet education. Assist the dentist during treatment procedures in office or hospital. Take impressions. Schedule follow-up exams. Review schedule to make sure appointments are scheduled appropriately. Set-up and tear down dental chairs and operatory rooms. Parents consults-discuss treatment plans. Clean and sterilize instruments. Lab work. Restock supplies in rooms and sterilization area. Infection control & maintenance of OSHA guidelines. Participate in marketing endeavors Write letters to be sent to referrals.
