Duties Prepare treatment rooms with sterilized instruments, materials, and equipment, adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols. Assist dentists during procedures such as restorations, extractions, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry by handing instruments and managing patient comfort. Take and develop dental X-rays using digital imaging systems Support administrative tasks including scheduling appointments and coordinating with the dental reception team to optimize clinic flow. Demonstrate proficiency in dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and various specialties like pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and general dentistry to facilitate effective communication within the team. Experience Prior experience working in a dental clinic environment is highly preferred; familiarity with dental assisting procedures is essential. Practical understanding of infection control standards, aseptic techniques, and sterilization processes to ensure patient safety. Ability to perform chairside assisting confidently during diverse procedures. Knowledge of dental assisting best practices related to vital signs measurement, anatomy recognition, and medical terminology for accurate patient care delivery.
