Overview: Our friendly pediatric dental practice is seeking a dependable and caring Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our team. We are looking for a Dental Assistant (DA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) who enjoys working with children and helping create a positive dental experience for young patients. Thursday availability is required. This role is a great opportunity for someone with experience in pediatric dentistry, general dentistry, or orthodontics who enjoys working closely with a supportive dental team and interacting with families. Key Responsibilities: Assist the dentist during pediatric dental procedures and exams Prepare and disinfect treatment rooms and dental instruments Take digital dental X-rays when needed Help ensure appointments run smoothly throughout the day Provide clear post-treatment instructions to parents and guardians Maintain accurate dental charting and patient records Follow all infection control and sterilization protocols Help create a welcoming and comfortable environment for children Qualifications: Dental Assistant (DA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) preferred Experience in pediatric dentistry or general dentistry is a plus Comfortable working with children and families Knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization, and chairside assisting X-ray certification (preferred) Bilingual (English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese) is a plus but not required Must be available on Thursdays Schedule: Thursday availability required Additional days are available Benefits (for eligible employees): Competitive hourly pay ($22–$28/hr) Friendly and supportive team environment Opportunities for professional growth Paid training available Why Join Our Team?
