Permanent Dental Receptionist / Front Desk Job in Hillsborough, NJ
Overview We are looking for a talented dental assistant to join our dental team! We are focused on delivering quality care to our wonderful patients. Responsibilities Keeping operatories clean and prepared with necessary instruments and materials Assisting for various general dentistry procedures while also ensuring patient comfort Taking dental radiographs accurately and comfortably for patients. Active NJ X-Ray License Required. Maintaining inventory of office supplies and ensuring timely reordering Organizing and managing lab cases Sterilization of instruments and following infection control protocols Ensuring proper maintenance of equipment such as handpieces, autoclave, waterlines Front desk duties when needed: Greeting patients, answering phone calls, scheduling patients, taking payments, verifying insurance, writing referrals, etc. Basic housekeeping to maintain a clean and organized office environment Qualifications Experience and knowledge in general dentistry procedures (including endodontics), materials, and terminology. Familiar with using Dentrix and Dexis software Familiar with intra-oral scanning. Training available. Excellent communication skills with patients and fellow team members Proactive, supportive and empathetic team member Understands HIPPA regulations Active NJ X-Ray License CPR Certification Schedule Monday to Friday. 30-33 hours per week Job Type: Full-time Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour Benefits: Paid sick time Paid time off Work Location: In person
