Responsibilities Perform thorough patient assessments, including dental examinations, medical history reviews, and oral health evaluations. Deliver high-quality general dentistry services such as fillings, crowns, bridges, root canal therapy, dental extractions, and prosthodontics. Conduct oral surgery procedures with precision, adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols. Utilize dental imaging technology to diagnose conditions accurately and develop effective treatment plans. Maintain detailed and accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and dental terminology standards. Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to ensure efficient patient flow and optimal care delivery. Educate patients on oral health maintenance, preventive care strategies, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term wellness. Qualifications Valid state license to practice dentistry with current DEA registration if applicable. Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in dental terminology and medical documentation. Strong knowledge of dental procedures including endodontics, oral surgery, prosthodontics, and root canal therapy. Familiarity with dental office management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is preferred. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs thoroughly and communicate effectively. Knowledge of infection control standards and aseptic techniques to ensure a safe clinical environment. Prior experience working in a dental clinic or dental office setting is highly desirable.
