We are looking to hire a friendly, and organized individual to join our team as our Lead Dental Assistant. You will play a critical role in creating a warm and welcoming environment and ensuring a positive patient experience from start to finish. Responsibilities include: Greeting and welcoming patients to the practice. Address patients questions and concerns with care to ensure patient comfort. Assisting patients to fill out medical history and information forms. Maintaining accurate patient records in practice management software and documenting recent treatments and procedures. Assist the dentist utilizing four-handed dentistry technique during procedures Take digital dental radiographs (certification required) Take and record patient blood pressure Prepare treatment rooms according to OSHA and CDC infection control guidelines for all dental procedures Disinfect dental treatment rooms after dental procedures following OSHA and CDC infection control guidelines Maintain efficient patient flow to optimize dentist daily schedule Sterilize and maintain instruments according to OSHA and CDC infection control standards Other duties as assigned Required Skills/Abilities: Dental Assisting license Radiology certification CPR certification Four-handed dentistry Organized, detail-organized, and able to think ahead Friendly, professional demeanor with patients and teammates Exceptional organizational skills Impeccable Customer Service Reliable, punctual, and team oriented Education and Experience: CODA, Accredited Dental Assisting Program Graduate Radiology Certification CPR Certification High school diploma or GED. Experience with Dentrix dental practice management software a plus.
