We’re looking for a dependable and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team and help us deliver exceptional care to our patients. Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to infection control protocols Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures (e.g., fillings, crowns, extractions, etc.) Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays) Record and update patient information and treatment notes in the practice management software Provide patients with pre- and post-operative instructions and ensure they feel comfortable and informed Maintain dental supplies and inventory, placing orders as needed Support front desk operations when needed, including scheduling and patient check-in/out Qualifications Required: Dental Assistant certification in Virginia (or eligibility to obtain) X-ray certification required Current CPR certification preferred Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience preferred ( new graduates encouraged to apply ) Excellent communication and patient care skills Team-oriented, reliable, and detail-focused ** Starting Pay is based on experience ** ** Willing to train the right candidate ** Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Health insurance Paid time off License/Certification: X-Ray Certification (Required) Ability to Commute: Centreville, VA 20121 (Required) Work Location: In person
