Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time or Full-Time Dental Assistant to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will support our team by providing exceptional chairside assistance, ensuring infection control, and maintaining a smooth patient flow. Duties Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques Prepare and organize treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials Take dental X-rays, including 3D scans Record vital signs and medical history in electronic medical records Ensure aseptic technique and infection control standards are strictly followed Provide patient education on oral health, post-treatment care, and dental procedures Manage dental documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and updating patient records Assist with pediatric dentistry procedures Operate dental equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining a clean work environment Experience Previous experience working in a dental clinic setting is preferred Familiarity with Softdent Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and dental coding is essential Experience with chairside assisting in general dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, or pediatrics dentistry.
