We are looking for an experienced and motivated assistant to join our dental team! At our office, our mission is to create a personable experience with each and every patient. We are dedicated to providing the best quality oral health care to our patients. We are seeking a part-time dental assistant who is a positive , energetic , and organized individual to join our team. The days we are looking for are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and 2 Saturdays a month. Job Summary Assists dentist, set up and breakdown rooms, maintains equipment, prepares patients' for treatment, and keeps records. General Accountabilities Prepares patient, sterilizes or disinfects instruments, sets up instrument trays, prepares materials, and assists dentist during dental procedures. Records treatment information in patient records. Takes digital x-rays Takes and records patients medical and dental histories Provides postoperative instructions prescribed by dentist. Monitors dental supplies and equipment inventory. Fabricates temporary restorations (crowns and bridges) Takes alginate and pvs impressions Pours and trims alginate impressions *The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.
