Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Alexandria, VA
Busy practice looking for an experienced dental assistant to join our amazing team. Must be experienced in all areas of general dentistry. Must be dependable and a team player. Open Dental software, experience is a plus. Must be x-ray certified Responsibilities Take and document patient dental history and updates, as well as overall health and medication history Assist dentist by handling supplies and instruments as requested (4 handed dentistry) Prepare rooms and trays for dentist with necessary instruments and supplies Clean and sterilize instruments, and prepare treatment rooms as needed Take dental radiographs Ensure appropriate supply of equipment and materials Perform patient charting as instructed by the dentist Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room Take impressions and pour models MUST be able to fabricate temporary crowns Must be well organized Job Type: Full-time Salary: $24.00 to $30.00 /hour BASED ON EXPERIENCE Job Type: Full-time Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour.
