About us Williamsport Dental is a small business in Williamsport, MD. We are professional, collaborative and customer-centric. Schedule: This is a temporary position for approximately three months. The schedule is 7:30 AM- 5:30 PM on the specific dates as follows: April 22, 27, 29 May 4, 6, 13, 20, 25, 27 June 1, 3, 10, 17, 22, 24 July 22, 27, 29 Duties: - Perform dental hygiene procedures, including dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing - Take and develop dental x-rays - Conduct oral cancer screenings - Administer local anesthesia as needed - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide oral health instructions - Assist the dentist during dental exams - Maintain accurate patient records using Eaglesoft - Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment Qualifications: - Valid dental hygienist license in Maryland - Associate's degree in dental hygiene (Bachelor's degree preferred) - Proficient in using Eaglesoft system for patient record management - Knowledge of dental coding - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records - Ability to work well in a team environment - Strong understanding of oral health principles and practices Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
