What Youâll Be Doing: Giving patients a reason to smileâliterally! Youâll remove plaque, polish teeth, and apply protective treatments like fluoride and sealants. Spotting trouble before it starts by examining teeth and gums for signs of disease or abnormalities. Teaching patients how to care for their teeth like a proâbecause prevention is key! Providing emergency triage of dental emergency patients. Keeping our dental spaces spotless and instruments sterilized, all in line with top-tier infection control standards. Qualifications Associate degree in dental Hygiene and a current valid license to practice hygiene in NYS.. A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a genuine passion for patient care Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment Dental experience preferred PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Requires prolonged periods of standing throughout the workday. Involves occasionally lifting or moving items weighing up to 25 pounds. Requires strong visual acuity, including the ability to perform close-up work and adjust focus as needed
