Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and professionally, providing excellent customer service. Schedule appointments efficiently using dental practice management software. Manage multi-line phone systems with courteous phone etiquette, addressing patient inquiries promptly. Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and health information management standards. Assist with insurance verification, intake procedures, and documentation review to facilitate smooth clinic operations. Support office management tasks including accounts receivable and managing electronic records. Experience Prior experience in a dental office or healthcare setting is highly preferred, especially with dental terminology and clinic workflows. Demonstrated proficiency with PMS systems such as CareStack, or similar platforms like Meditech or Epic. Familiarity with insurance procedures including Medicare and Medicaid claims processing. Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and ability to learn new software quickly. Bilingual abilities are a plus to better serve our diverse patient population. Proven ability to handle administrative support tasks such as documentation review, care plans coordination, and health information management.
