Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, infection control practices, and the ability to perform four-handed dentistry efficiently. The Dental Assistant will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment, ensuring patient comfort, and supporting the overall operations of the dental clinic. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques. Prepare and maintain the treatment area, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use. Follow aseptic techniques to ensure infection control standards are met at all times. Take and develop dental radiographs as needed, adhering to safety protocols. Maintain accurate medical documentation for each patient visit, including treatment notes and progress records. Educate patients on post-operative care and proper oral hygiene practices. Manage patient flow within the clinic to ensure timely appointments and minimize wait times. Utilize Eaglesoft software for scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and billing processes. Perform routine sterilization of instruments and equipment in accordance with clinic protocols. Experience Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred but not required; new graduates are encouraged to apply. Familiarity with dental terminology, endodontics procedures, and infection control practices is highly desirable. Proficiency in medical documentation processes is essential for maintaining accurate patient records. Experience with Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management software is a plus but not mandatory.
