Our established, patient-focused dental practice is seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Assistant to join our team. About the Role This is a full-time position for an assistant who is proficient in a wide range of chairside procedures and committed to providing a seamless, efficient, and comfortable experience for our patients and dentists. You will be a vital part of our operations, utilizing your skills to ensure excellent outcomes in restorative, cosmetic, and surgical procedures. Key Responsibilities Efficiently and seamlessly assist the dentist during all procedures, including routine general dentistry, complex restorative work, and specialized treatments. Prepare patients for treatment, take and develop high-quality X-rays, provide post-operative instructions, and ensure patient comfort and excellent rapport. Take accurate impressions, scanning, temporary crowns, prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment, manage inventory, and maintain strict infection control protocols. Accurately chart and document patient records, treatment plans, and clinical notes. Familiarity with Open Dental software is a significant plus. Communicate effectively with the front office and clinical teams to maintain an organized and efficient schedule. Qualifications Minimum 1 year of verifiable experience as a chairside Dental Assistant. Exceptional proficiency in dental assisting techniques is mandatory. Current state-mandated Dental Assisting license/registration. Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) Certification is strongly preferred. Candidates with equivalent advanced restorative skills and licensure are also encouraged to apply. Current CPR/BLS certification. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
