Dental Assistant - Davis Family Dentistry - Kirkland, WA

Our well-established Kirkland office is in need of a Full-Time dental assistant. We're looking for someone who is easy-going, reliable, knowledgeable and compassionate, we know you are out there. Job Duties may include: Sterilization - Carry out the current standards of sterilization surrounding all aspects of dentistry including setting up, taking down and sterilizing instruments and rooms. Exams and Triage - We refer all specialty care out and it is important to work with the doctor on generating the appropriate referrals to the correct specialists and aid in any x-rays or pulp testing that may be indicated. Fillings - Chairside assisting the doctor with caries control, preparation and filling. May also include helping the doctor to set up banding systems for proper isolation. Crowns - Assist our doctors chairside as well as pack cord and fabricate temporaries independently. Implants - Assist in the restorative stage of implant crowns by helping doctors with impressions. NG and Retainers - Be able to take impressions and pour them up. Hygiene - Child Prophies, sealants and x-rays where needed. Assist with periodontal probing, turning rooms and instruments over. 35-40hrs/week Tuesday-Thursday 7:00am-4:00pm and Monday and Friday 8:00am-2:00pm Competitive compensation and benefit package.
