Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Part-time Dentist to join our vibrant dental team! Duties Perform general dentistry procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, and crowns with precision and care. Conduct oral assessments, diagnose dental conditions, and develop personalized treatment plans. Execute complex procedures such as dental extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics with skill and confidence. Utilize dental imaging technology and interpret results accurately to inform treatment decisions. Maintain thorough medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure accurate medical records management. Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols diligently to uphold the highest standards of safety. Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists in four-handed dentistry to optimize patient comfort and treatment efficiency. Use dental terminology clearly to communicate effectively with patients and team members. Stay updated on the latest advancements in pediatric dentistry, endodontics, oral surgery, and other specialties to enhance patient outcomes. Ensure compliance with all medical and dental regulations, including HIPAA privacy rules and infection control standards. Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Dentist with current credentials in good standing. Proven experience working in a dental clinic or similar setting, demonstrating proficiency in general dentistry procedures. Familiarity with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar systems. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy, and medical imaging techniques. Experience performing pediatric dentistry procedures and managing pediatric patients is highly desirable. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs compassionately and thoroughly. Knowledge of infection control practices, aseptic techniques, and sterilization procedures. Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and other advanced treatments confidently. Strong understanding of medical documentation standards and HIPAA compliance requirements. Effective communication skills for explaining treatments clearly to patients of all ages.
