Responsibilities Assist the dentist during various procedures including same-day crowns, endodontics, and implant workflow, ensuring optimal outcomes. Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, maintaining aseptic techniques and infection control protocols. Take X-rays and utilizing digital imaging equipment such as 3D scanners when needed. Perform chairside assisting tasks including taking vital signs, medical history documentation, and explaining procedures to patients to foster comfort and understanding. Manage patient records accurately using Eaglesoft, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy. Maintain clinical supplies inventory and sterilization processes to uphold safety standards across the practice. Qualifications Valid certification as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) with current licensure in your state or region. Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with familiarity in general dentistry procedures. Experience with Eaglesoft is a plus. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques. Ability to operate dental imaging equipment including X-ray machines and 3D scanners confidently.
