Dental Assistant, Full Time - Sunrise Dental of Bellevue - Bellevue, WA

Job Summary We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to support our clinical team and help deliver excellent patient care. In this role, you’ll assist the dentist during procedures, prepare treatment rooms, and help keep the office running efficiently. The ideal candidate communicates well, works comfortably in a team setting, and has a solid understanding of dental practices and patient care. Days/Hours : Monday 8:45-6, Tuesday 7:45-6, Wednesday 8:45-6, Thursday 7:45-6, Friday 7:45-5 Duties Assist dentists during examinations and a full range of procedures by preparing instruments, materials, and treatment rooms Support all providers across the practice (no fixed columns) Take digital Schick radiographs, including use of Nomad X-ray technology Capture CBCT scans, intra-oral photos, and digital impressions using 3Shape scanners Perform four-handed dentistry Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records using auto-notes and chartless systems Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all clinical protocols Educate patients on oral hygiene, treatment plans, and post-operative care Clean, disinfect, and sterilize instruments and operatories according to established protocols Complete daily end-of-day tasks, including operatory breakdown, restocking, and equipment checks Perform routine weekly, monthly, and quarterly maintenance on sterilization equipment and operatory machines Monitor and manage inventory, ensuring supplies are stocked and organized Skills Proficient in dental terminology and understanding of dental procedures Ability to take vital signs Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
