Job Overview We are a comprehensive, wellness and airway-focused fee-for-service dental practice in Breckenridge dedicated to delivering an elevated patient experience and exceptional clinical care. Unlike high-volume offices, we prioritize quality over speed , allowing appropriate time for thorough exams, patient education, and relationship-building. We are seeking a part-time Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our team on Thursdays , with the opportunity to expand into additional days over the summer. In the future, we see ourselves expanding hours and days to better accomodate patient schedules. This role is perfect for a hygienist who values autonomy, takes pride in their clinical skillset, and wants to contribute meaningfully to treatment acceptance and practice growth. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dental hygiene care, including prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, SRP, and gingivitis therapy Conduct thorough periodontal assessments and accurately diagnose periodontal disease Take and interpret digital radiographs (including CBCT as needed) Utilize intraoral scanning technology (iTero) to support diagnostics and case presentation Deliver clear, confident, and patient-centered education on oral health, conditions, and recommended treatments Support doctor exams by identifying and communicating clinical findings effectively Discuss and reinforce treatment recommendations to improve patient understanding and acceptance Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation Follow infection control protocols and uphold the highest standards of care Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure a seamless and elevated patient experience Contribute to practice growth through strong clinical performance and patient engagement Skills Active Registered Dental Hygienist license in the state of Colorado Local anesthesia certification Nitrous oxide (NâO) certification Radiology certification Strong knowledge of periodontal diagnosis and treatment planning Confidence in recommending and performing SRP and managing periodontal cases Excellent communication and patient education skills High level of professionalism and attention to detail Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment Willingness to expand skillset to include placement of sealants, Curadont, and SDF. Interest in continuing education in the areas of myofunctional therapy Pay: $55.00 - $72.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) matching Health insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Work Location: In person
