Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Creedmoor, NC
Must have dental assisting experience and have Xray Certification Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting the dentist during procedures, performing dental receptionist duties, and ensuring infection control protocols are followed. Duties: - Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including taking X-rays, preparing instruments, and passing instruments to the dentist - Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety - Perform dental receptionist duties, including scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and managing patient records using Eaglesoft or similar systems - Maintain infection control protocols by sterilizing instruments and disinfecting treatment areas - Assist with pediatric dental procedures and ensure a positive experience for young patients - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for each patient Skills: - Proficient in medical imaging techniques and taking dental X-rays - Experience as a dental receptionist is preferred - Knowledge of infection control protocols and ability to implement them effectively - Familiarity with Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management systems - Strong assisting skills, including setting up treatment rooms and preparing instruments - Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with patients and colleagues This is a full-time position with competitive pay.
