Assistant needed for Monday 12p-5pm, Wednesday 9am-2pm, Thursdays 1pm-7:30pm, Fridays 9am-1:30pm. Approx 20+ hrs a week, possibilty for more hours. Duties Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments following infection control protocols and aseptic techniques Assist dentists during procedures such as restorations, extractions, endodontics, prosthodontics, and other general dentistry treatments Take dental X-rays using our digital software Dexis Manage patient records using Dentrix, ensuring accurate documentation of medical and dental history, and treatment notes Maintain a clean, organized clinic environment adhering to infection control standards and proper anatomy knowledge for safe procedures Requirements Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar dental clinic setting with knowledge of dental terminology Proficiency with systems such as Dentrix; familiarity with dental coding is a plus Ability to perform X-ray procedures safely following radiation safety protocols Strong understanding of infection control practices and aseptic techniques in a clinical setting Knowledge of pediatric dentistry principles to assist with children’s care effectively Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with patients of all ages and collaborate seamlessly with the dental team Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour Benefits: Paid time off Work Location: In person
