Dental Assistant - Midwest Dental of Taylor / Dearborn - Milford, MI

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures and help ensure excellent patient care. Duties: - Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations - Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment - Assist the dentist by handing them instruments during procedures - Take and develop dental x-rays - Educate patients on proper dental hygiene practices - Maintain accurate patient records Qualifications: - Completion of a dental assistant program or equivalent experience - Knowledge of medical terminology and dental procedures - Familiarity with dental software systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar - Proficiency in medical coding and billing processes - Ability to take vital signs and perform infection control procedures - Experience with CAD/CAM systems is a plus - Knowledge of aseptic techniques in a dental setting Joining our team as a Dental Assistant offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where patient care is our top priority.
