Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team in providing exceptional patient care within our dental clinic. This role is essential for ensuring the health and well-being of our patients through thorough assessments, education, and preventive care. This role is from Monday to Thursday. Duties Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages, with a focus on pediatric dentistry. Utilize dental imaging techniques to assist in diagnosing dental conditions. Document patient care accurately and maintain detailed records in accordance with clinic protocols. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and the importance of regular dental visits. Assist dentists during procedures as needed, ensuring a smooth workflow within the dental office. Review documentation to ensure compliance with health regulations and standards. Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient experience and outcomes. Qualifications Valid dental hygiene license in the state of practice. Experience in a dental clinic setting preferred, particularly with pediatric patients. Proficiency in using cloud dental software (Oryx) or similar dental management systems is advantageous. Strong understanding of medical imaging techniques related to dentistry. Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care. Ability to work effectively within a team environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
