Duties: - Perform thorough dental cleanings, including removing plaque and tartar buildup - Conduct patient assessments, including reviewing medical history and taking x-rays - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for at-home care - Assist the dentist during procedures by handing instruments, suctioning, and providing support as needed - Document patient treatment plans and maintain accurate records of patient care - Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and sterile environment - Stay up-to-date with advancements in dental technology and attend continuing education courses as required Qualifications: - Valid Dental Hygienist license in Texas - Thorough understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy laws - Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health systems - Familiarity with dental office procedures, including medical coding and insurance billing - Laser Certification - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to work well in a team environment Join our team of dedicated professionals who are committed to providing exceptional dental care to our patients.
