About Us Fox Point Dental Studio, a member of Roaring Smiles Dentistry is a single owner private practice, providing exceptional oral health care in a welcoming environment to Fox Point and our surrounding communities. Our team is committed to fostering healthy smiles and building lasting relationships with our patients. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our growing team. Job Summary The Dental Hygienist will provide high-quality preventive dental care, including cleanings, patient education, oral health assessments, Sealants, Velscope- Oral cancer screenings, etc. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, personable, and passionate about promoting oral health who is a team player. We do have a full-time sterile technician who is currently also working with our full time hygienist in assisting with Perio charting, taking X-Rays as needed, seating patients, assisting with taking accurate medical history, vitals as well as polishing and flossing teeth so you have more time speeding time with your patients with educating and delivering quality care. Responsibilities: Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planning as needed. Conduct oral health assessments, including screening for cavities, gum disease, and oral cancer. Take dental X-rays. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care. Apply sealants and fluoride treatments as necessary. Maintain accurate patient records and document treatments. Collaborate with the dentist and dental assistants to ensure comprehensive patient care. Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, safe clinical environment. Stay updated on best practices and advancements in dental hygiene. Qualifications: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program. Valid state Dental Hygienist license (or eligibility to obtain one). Current CPR certification. Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply. Proficiency with Open Dental software and digital X-ray systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to patient care and teamwork. Schedule: Flexible schedule- 2 full days or 2 to 3 days either mornings or afternoons. Hour office hours are Monday through Thursdays 7.30AM to 4PM and Fridays 8.00AM to 1.00PM.
