What You’ll Do Assist the doctor during pediatric dental procedures Create a calm, fun, and reassuring experience for children and families Educate patients and parents on oral health and hygiene Take radiographs and maintain accurate patient records Help keep the clinic running smoothly and efficiently Follow sterilization and infection control protocols What We’re Looking For Active Minnesota Licensed Dental Assistant (LDA) license CPR certification (or willingness to obtain) Friendly, positive attitude with strong communication skills Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment Team player with a genuine love for working with children Pediatric experience is a plus—but we value attitude, energy, and willingness to learn just as much. Compensation: $21 - $33 hourly Responsibilities: Prepare and organize sterilized instruments, supplies, and materials for dental procedures Chairside assist dentists and hygienists during examinations and treatments Perform pediatric prophylaxis (Pedo Prophies) Float assist across rooms as needed Take and process dental radiographs (x-rays) Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and postoperative care Record vital signs, update medical histories, and maintain accurate patient records Sterilize and disinfect equipment and maintain infection control standards Schedule follow-up appointments and provide clear treatment explanations to patients Qualifications: Current Licensed Dental Assistant (LDA) certification in Minnesota (or eligible soon) Graduation from an accredited dental assisting program (CODA) Current BLS/CPR certification Experience using dental software and digital radiography Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills A warm, team-first attitude and a commitment to patient comfort and care About Company Philosophy We provide the highest standard of personalized patient care while having fun, creating an inviting atmosphere, and building a lifetime of confidence and healthy dental habits.
