Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Licensed Dental Assistant (LDA) to support our periodontal team. This role requires strong clinical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to create a calm, supportive environment for patients undergoing periodontal procedures. Key Responsibilities Assist periodontist during surgical and non-surgical procedures, including implants, extractions, and periodontal therapy Prepare and sterilize instruments in compliance with OSHA and infection control standards Set up and break down operatories efficiently Take dental radiographs (per state requirements) Monitor and support patients during procedures, ensuring comfort and safety Provide pre- and post-operative instructions to patients Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Manage supplies and inventory for operatories Support team flow to maintain an efficient schedule Qualifications Active Licensed Dental Assistant (LDA) certification in MN Current CPR/BLS certification Radiology certification Knowledge of periodontal procedures and surgical assisting preferred Strong understanding of infection control and OSHA standards Experience with dental software (e.g., Open Dental) is a plus Skills & Attributes Excellent communication and patient care skills Ability to stay calm and focused in a surgical environment Strong attention to detail and organization Team-oriented with a positive attitude Adaptable and proactive in a fast-paced setting What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Supportive and collaborative team environment Opportunities for growth and continued learning Medical Benefits for 30+ hours per week How to Apply Please submit your resume through our website: www.periodontalspecialists.com Pay: $25.50 - $30.71 per hour Work Location: In person
