Position Overview: We are seeking a Hygiene Assistant to support our hygiene team and help ensure a smooth, efficient patient experience. This is a replacement position due to internal team transitions, and it’s a great opportunity to join a growing practice with long-term potential. Key Responsibilities: Assist hygienists with patient care, including taking digital X-rays and polishing Support patient flow and help maintain an efficient schedule (approx. 12 patients/day) Assist with sterilization and operatory setup/breakdown Help coordinate recall scheduling and patient follow-up Maintain accurate charting and documentation in Open Dental Qualifications: Dental experience preferred but not required (willing to train the right candidate) Familiarity with dental software (Open Dental a plus) Knowledge of sterilization and basic clinical workflows is helpful Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment What We’re Looking For: Kind, positive, and bubbly personality Team player who is supportive and willing to step in where needed Eagerness to learn and grow within the role Strong communication, dependability, and time management skills Ability to adapt and stay calm in a fast-paced setting Schedule: Monday: 8:00 AM - 5:00PM Tuesday: 8:00AM - 5:00PM Wednesday: 8:00AM - 3:00PM Thursday: 8:00AM - 5:00Pm Fridays: As needed Sat/Sun: CLOSED Practice Highlights: Assisted hygiene model with 2 columns 70-minute hygiene appointments Modern technology including digital X-rays and CAD/CAM Services include orthodontics, Botox, whitening, and sleep appliances Compensation & Benefits: Starting at $18/hour (with growth potential) Dental benefits, PTO, and holiday pay Bonus opportunities Team lunches and team-building activities Why Join Us?
