We are looking for a competent dental assistant who will make the dentist’s office more efficient and pleasant for patients. You’ll ensure excellent customer service and lift administrative and basic dental tasks off the dentist’s shoulders. Dental assistants should be well-organized with great attention to detail. You should be able to follow instructions and respect dental office regulations. We want you to be skilled in providing direct or indirect patient care and able to make office procedures as smooth as possible. Responsibilities: Dental Assistants help dentists to ensure dental procedures go smoothly and patients are comfortable. Duties and responsibilities of the Dental Assistant include: Preparing exam rooms, sterilizing instruments and ensuring necessary equipment is ready for dentists Assisting dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating needs Taking and processing X-rays of patients Processing lab work for the dentist Greeting patients as they arrive and scheduling appointments Taking billing and insurance details from patients Advising patients on recommended oral hygiene Updating and maintaining dental records Handling general administrative and other duties to maintain the dental clinic Work Remotely No Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour Benefits: Employee discount Experience: Dental assisting: 2 years (Required) License/Certification: X-Ray Certification (Required) Work Location: In person
