Dr. Steven Robinette, DDS is a general dental practitioner seeking a skilled and experienced part time dental hygienist to join his team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and a commitment to providing high-quality dental services. Key Objectives : Participate in continuing education courses to maintain licensure and improve skills Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment Communicate effectively with patients to address any concerns or questions Perform periodontal assessments and screenings for oral cancer Duties and Responsibilities Gather patient information and health background Take x-rays when necessary Prepare the work area for procedures Clean and polish patients’ teeth and gums Educate patients on good oral hygiene habits Update patient records Sterilizing dental instruments and equipment Restock treatment areas Re/schedule your own pts/ Present or explain tx plans to pts/ General front desk basic duties if no pts in chair Requirements and Qualifications Associate degree or bachelor's degree in dental hygiene from an accredited program Current state license and x-ray certification Excellent understanding of dental hygiene procedures Knowledge of aseptic and sterilization techniques Excellent communication skills Pay : Wage is negotiable based on experience and days /hours worked range between $40-46.00 Job Type : Part Time Clinical Hours: 9:00 -5:00 3 days per week Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays some Mondays occasionally averaging about 12 -14 day per month Our office is a small privately owned practice with a positive work environment and a strong patient base. role.
