Registered Dental Hygienist - Dr. William Urschel - Venice, FL

Venice private dental practice has a full-time position for an experienced registered dental hygienist. Must possess a positive attitude and exceptional customer service skills. Salary and benefits are based on knowledge and experience. Duties include but are not limited to: Complete dental prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing Assist by completing oral exams through visual inspection, radiograph interpretation and periodontal charting Assist in screening for oral cancer Take radiographs Apply fluorides and other cavity-preventing agents Educate patients by providing oral hygiene and plaque control instructions Document dental hygiene services and maintain patient health records Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program with a current Florida RDH license Minimum of 2 years dental hygiene experience preferred.
