Dental Office Receptionist - Surf City Dentist - Huntington Beach, CA

OVERVIEW: We are searching for a new member to join our dental team! We are a family-oriented, highly reputable practice that values honest, ethical, and patient-centered care . Our office has a fun, relaxed, and drama-free environment , and we truly enjoy working together both inside and outside of the office. We are looking for someone who is energetic, professional, intelligent, well-spoken, detail-oriented, and friendly , with a natural ability to connect with patients. This is a client-facing, relationship-building role , so a positive attitude and excellent customer service skills are essential. Experience is preferred, but not required—we are happy to train the right person with the right personality and work ethic. What We Offer: Part-time position No nights or weekends Supportive, team-oriented environment Consistent schedule (Monday–Thursday, 5–8 hours/day) Key Responsibilities: Greet patients warmly and create a welcoming experience Check patients in and out efficiently Answer phones, texts, and emails Schedule and confirm appointments Present and discuss treatment plans Coordinate patient care and follow up on pending treatment Discuss fees and collect payments Help maintain a smooth and organized front office Qualifications: Positive, upbeat attitude and strong work ethic Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Dental front office experience preferred, but not required Familiarity with Open Dental is a plus Compensation: $22.00 – $28.00 per hour, based on experience Please include your desired hourly wage when applying If you’re the kind of person who smiles easily, stays positive under pressure, and enjoys creating a great experience for others , you’ll fit right in with our team.
