Duties Greet patients warmly and provide excellent customer service while managing check-in and check-out procedures Schedule appointments efficiently using dental office management software such as Open Dental Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance eligibility checks, and handle insurance verification processes Collect payments, process medical collections, and manage billing Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including documentation review and medical history updates Assist with intake procedures, including gathering medical and dental histories and updating electronic health records Answer multi-line phone systems professionally, providing information or directing calls appropriately Manage filing of dental and medical records while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations Support clinic operations by coordinating care plans, appointment reminders, and follow-up communications Utilize computer skills to navigate various software platforms efficiently Requirements Previous experience in Medical Receptionist or Dental Receptionist in a clinical or dental office environment preferred but not required Willingness to train and learn about dental terminology, medical terminology, CPT coding, ICD-9/10 coding, and medical billing processes Phone etiquette with multi-line phone system proficiency and typing skills Ability to handle sensitive patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations with discretion and professionalism Fluent in English and Russian (required) Strong organizational skills with office management, filing, documentation review, and medical records management Join us to make a meaningful difference in patientsâ lives by providing exceptional administrative support in a friendly, energetic environment.
