Take and develop dental X-rays using advanced equipment such as 3D scanners and medical imaging devices, ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnosis. Manage patient records efficiently by updating medical documentation, medical records, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy. Support the front desk team as a dental receptionist by scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and managing patient flow seamlessly. Maintain strict infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to uphold the highest standards of safety and hygiene. Demonstrate proficiency in dental terminology and technical procedures such as vital signs monitoring, anatomy knowledge, and dental assisting techniques like four-handed dentistry. Qualifications A minimum of one year of experience working in a dental clinic environment is preferred, with familiarity in general dentistry procedures including pediatrics. Strong knowledge of EMR systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic is essential for managing electronic health records efficiently. Certification or training in X-ray techniques and infection control practices is required. Excellent understanding of medical terminology and medical coding enhances your ability to accurately document patient interactions.
