Responsibilities Assist the dentist during various procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry with precision and efficiency. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary supplies, and ensuring aseptic technique is maintained at all times. Maintain infection control standards through proper sterilization techniques and adherence to OSHA guidelines. Collaborate effectively with team members in four-handed dentistry practices for efficient patient care delivery. Experience Prior experience working in a dental clinic environment is required, demonstrating familiarity with general dentistry procedures and clinical workflows. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy and data security is essential. Experience performing X-ray procedures, including pediatric radiography when applicable, is necessary. Strong understanding of dental assisting techniques including chairside assisting, infection control protocols, aseptic technique, and anatomy knowledge.
