Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. Duties Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with clinic policies. Utilize Eaglesoft software for scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and billing processes. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care. Implement infection control protocols to maintain a safe clinical environment. Operate 3D scanners for imaging as required during specific procedures. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure high-quality patient care. Experience Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not mandatory; we welcome candidates eager to learn. Familiarity with dental terminology and medical documentation is essential. Proficiency in using Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management software is advantageous. Knowledge of infection control standards and practices within a dental setting is required. Experience with medical imaging techniques will be considered an asset.
