Key Responsibilities: Assist the top orthodontist in the area during a wide range of exciting procedures, helping to create beautiful smiles. Record and update patient medical histories, ensuring we have a comprehensive understanding of their health needs. Conduct detailed patient assessments, including taking and developing x-rays and photographs, contributing to precise diagnosis and treatment planning. Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments, ensuring a safe, clean environment for every procedure. Support with the placement and removal of orthodontic appliances, playing a vital role in our patients' journey to a healthier, more confident smile. Educate patients on the best oral hygiene practices and proper care of their orthodontic appliances, empowering them to take charge of their dental health. Keep accurate and up-to-date medical records, including coding and documentation, using Epic software to streamline patient care. Be a key part of a collaborative team that provides exceptional service to patients and families alike! What Weâre Looking For: Required: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited dental assisting program is a plus. Required: Minimum of 2 years of orthodontic experienceâyour hands-on expertise will make a difference! Required : Current Registered Dental Assistant license. Strong computer skills, including familiarity with Dolphin Management software scheduling, charting, and patient communication. A keen eye for detail and excellent organizational skills to ensure a smooth, efficient workflow. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients of all agesâyour friendly demeanor will help our patients feel at ease!
