Position Summary The Dental Assistant supports the dentist in delivering high-quality patient care by assisting with clinical procedures, managing digital workflows, and ensuring smooth daily operations in the office. Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Support Assist the dentist during a variety of procedures (restorative, crown & bridge, extractions, dentures, etc.) Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms Ensure proper infection control protocols are followed Take and record patient vital signs and medical histories Digital Dentistry & Imaging Perform intraoral scans using iTero Scanner Take dental X-rays, including panoramic and 3D imaging using CT (Cone Beam CT) Upload, organize, and manage digital images and scans in Dentrix Ascend Assist in treatment planning using digital records Chairside Procedures Fabricate and adjust temporary crowns Take impressions (digital or traditional) Assist with crown deliveries, fillings, extractions, implant and surgery Provide post-operative instructions to patients Patient Care Prepare patients for treatment and ensure comfort throughout procedures Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care Maintain a friendly and professional environment Administrative Support Chart procedures and clinical notes in Dentrix Ascend Verify and update patient information Assist with scheduling and coordination as needed Pay: $24.95 - $30.04 per hour Work Location: In person
